September is under way, which means HalloWeekends is here! We are heading to Cedar Point this month and next on our Cedar Point Line Run for their Halloween celebration. Every Saturday, you can join us for a day filled with fun and frights at the Midwest’s top amusement park! You will be able to enjoy all of your favorite rides in addition to Halloween-themed events, performances, mazes, and haunted houses.
Worried about the fright factor? HalloWeekends doesn’t have to be scary! During the day, Cedar Point has The Great Pumpkin Fest, which features family-appropriate fall activities. Included are arts and crafts, trick-or-treating with Peanuts characters, The Great Pumpkin Parade, themed games, and indoor mazes (without monsters, of course). New for 2019 is the maze Hexed Spellbound: In the Dark, where attendees can use a blacklight to explore the witches’ lair to see what secrets lie around each corner.
Looking to be properly spooked? Haunt at HalloWeekends takes
place every evening with haunted mazes, outdoor scare zones, spooky live shows,
and sinister haunted attractions. One of the new attractions this year is
Cornstalkers 2.0: Revenge of the Pumpkin Heads, which is a horrifying corn maze
complete with deranged pumpkin heads, farmers, animals, and living corn stalks
ready to scare you into never coming back again! Prepare to be terrified as you
face your fears!
Whether you attend for the fun or the fright, our Cedar Point Line Run is the perfect option for taking you to HalloWeekends. Relax in our luxury motor coach buses with either music or movies to entertain and enjoy your hassle-free trip to the park! Reserve your spot on our Cedar Point Line Run today for a Saturday filled with Halloween thrills!
Please note: Guests are not permitted to wear masks, makeup or costumes while inside the park, with the exception of children who are participating in the Kids’ Costume Contest.

The holidays are approaching, and that means vacations are coming! We know getting ready for vacations can be hectic and stressful, but we’re ready to take some of the stress away by being your go-to airport transportation. With our array of vehicles, we can accommodate your every need, from small to large groups, along with handicap accessible vehicles.
If you have yet to book your transportation, we walk you through that process in this article. Once you’ve gone through those steps, your vehicle will be booked and you’ll be all set for your trip! If you’ve booked transportation to the airport, on the day of your trip, your driver will arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time. This is to allow enough time for you to get your things together and meet your driver outside of your pick-up location. The driver will then take you to the departures section at the airport and help you unload your luggage with a sendoff for a great expedition!
If you’re booking transportation from the airport, we ask that you do it at least 24 hours in advance. Upon arrival at the airport, your driver will meet you in the arrivals section by the baggage claim. Your driver will help you carry your luggage to their vehicle, which will be parked in the parking structure. Once you are all situated in the vehicle, you will be off to your destination!
Booking your airport transportation with Trinity is the one ingredient that will provide relaxing travel time for you and your guests. We can’t wait to help make your trip the best it can be!

It’s almost summertime and the Cedar Point season is upon us! The park is open and our motor coach is waiting for you! We offer trips to Cedar Point on our Cedar Point Line Run every year during the park’s open season…but what exactly is the Cedar Point Line Run? We’re here to explain it to you and how to book your tickets for round trip transportation and park admission. Easy peasy!
What is the Line Run?
Our Cedar Point Line Run offers round trip transportation to Cedar Point in one of our luxury motor coaches and park admission for around the same price as gate ticket prices! We have two options available for purchase: round trip transportation with park admission for $82 or round trip transportation only for $42. Our motor coach will pick you up at one of our pick-up locations, take you to the park where you’ll arrive by 10am then depart the park at 9:30pm for the regular season and arrive by 11am then depart at 10:30pm for HalloWeekends. Trips on our Cedar Point Line Run for this year start July 6th and go to the park every Saturday. A full day of fun – and you don’t even have to worry about driving!
How to Reserve Your Spot on the Cedar Point Line Run
- Visit the Cedar Point Line Run page on our website. This website lays out all of the information on our Cedar Point Line Run, including pick-up locations, motor coach specs, and guidelines.
- Determine the type of reservation you want. You can choose to purchase round trip transportation with park admission for $82 or round trip transportation only for $42. All guests in your group do not need to purchase the same tickets!
- Choose your date and pick-up location. With trips running every week and three Metro Detroit pick-up locations, you’re bound to find a trip that works for you! Take a peek at your calendar and choose a date that fits your schedule, then select a pick-up location that works best for you.
- Call us to reserve your spot. We’re here to take your Cedar Point Line Run reservations Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Call us at 888-995-8565 and we will happily assist you! Please have your credit/debit card ready for payment. When calling, we will ask for the following information: the name on your credit/debit card, billing address, phone number, email address, names of everyone attending, what type of reservation you will be purchasing for each guest, date of trip, pick-up location, and your credit/debit card information. Please have these items ready to go when you call!
- Mark your calendar. After you call to reserve your spot, you are all set! You will receive an email confirming the details of your order shortly after the call is complete. Once we have your information, we will put you and your guests on the manifest. On the day of your trip, our motor coach will pick you up at the pick-up location you selected. Please bring your driver’s license or other form of identification so you can check in with the driver. Upon boarding the bus, the driver will check your name off on the manifest and hand you your park tickets (if you purchased the $82 option). After that, it’s off to the park you go!
We hope you’re as excited as we are for the fun summer ahead at Cedar Point! Don’t forget to also book your trip for the spooktacular HalloWeekends!

So you’ve planned a group trip that will last two or more days, and you’re wondering how the process works and what to expect…well, we will lay it all out for you! We’re here to provide you with all of the necessary information for what to expect during the process of your motor coach trip so your mind can be at ease when planning.
What to Expect After Booking
After requesting a quote and booking your trip, the motor coach reservations specialist you’ve been in contact with will provide you with a contract/confirmation that contains a trip number, day of departure, and date of return, which is required to be signed and returned. You will also be asked to provide a detailed itinerary and on-site contact, which will ensure there is constant contact between the group and the driver. Once the final itinerary is reviewed, it is sent to our motor coach dispatch department, then a driver is assigned to the trip and given the itinerary. After the driver is assigned to your trip, you will receive the driver’s name, cell phone number, and the number(s) of the bus(es) that will be used for your trip. You will also receive our 24-hour dispatch number in case it is needed. The day before your trip, your motor coach reservations specialist will call you to verbally confirm every detail of your trip is correct.
Day-Of Process
When the day of your trip arrives, the driver(s) will pick you up in your motor coach(es) at the discussed pick-up time and location. You will then be transported to your destination(s). Please note that destinations with travel time longer than 8 hours will require more than one driver for each motor coach. This second driver (or more, depending on travel time) will meet your current driver at a specified location to switch. Since your trip is 2+ days long, you will be required to provide accommodations for your driver at each destination. While at your destination (or each destination if you have more than one), your driver can take you to wherever you need to go – as long as it is included in your itinerary!
After Your Trip
After your trip is over and you return home, you are all set! Our motor coach reservations specialist will reach out to you to see how everything went and for any feedback about your trip.

So you’ve gone through the steps of choosing a vehicle and requesting a quote, but you’re unsure of what happens next. Have no fear, Trinity Transportation is here! We’re going to walk you through the process of securing your vehicle, A.K.A. what happens after you request a quote.
Once you submit your quote request online, it is sent to our reservations department. Upon receiving your request, one of our reservations specialists will contact you to get to know you and your needs a little better. After they have a full understanding of what you are looking for, they will send you a booking information sheet to fill out, which is basically just general information that is needed to better determine your rate.
Your reservations specialist will then configure your rate based off of several different factors, including the location of your destination, projected mileage use, dates of service, and size of the vehicle. The rate will then be sent to you and you can move forward with booking. When you book your vehicle, your reservations specialist will send you a detailed overview of your trip along with payment options, processing fee information, and due dates. If your trip requires it, your reservations specialist will ask for a detailed itinerary and information for an on-site contact, which will ensure there is 100% communication between the driver, the client, and dispatch to diligently complete the entire trip from start to finish.
If you call for a quote, the process is exactly the same! When you call, your reservations specialist will ask for some information about your projected trip/event and your email address, then email you the booking information sheet for you to fill out. Once that is done, the process continues the same as if you had requested a quote online!

The Iron Dragon is now virtual! From now until September 4th, guests ages 13+ can wear a virtual reality headset while riding the rollercoaster for an awesome new experience.
Cedar Point has a mobile app that is back for its second season. Park-goers can join a “coaster alliance” and enter a friendly competition in “The Battle for Cedar Point”. Guests can also answer park trivia questions, scan targets to gain points for their alliance, and play unique mini-games while in line. Don’t worry about using up all of your data either – Cedar Point has free wi-fi!
In addition to the terrific new rides and app features, Cedar Point has added new dining options. If you’re hungry or thirsty, the park has you covered. Enjoy delicious shredded meat sandwiches and gourmet macaroni and cheese from Root’s (near the Scrambler), and head over to Melt Bar & Grilled (near Planet Snoopy) for interesting takes on the classic grilled cheese sandwich. Famous Dave’s BBQ Shack is on the Frontier Trail, ready to fill your barbeque cravings with pulled pork sandwiches, brisket, ribs, and more. If you’re in search for pizza, make your way to Wagon Wheel Pizza in Frontier Town. Be prepared for mouth-watering hand-made pizza with traditional toppings of cheese, sausage, or pepperoni. And don’t forget your side of flavorsome breadsticks! If you tend to drink a lot of liquids throughout your time at the park, Cedar Point has a season pass drink plan that gives you the option of selecting a disposable cup or refillable drink bottle at the beverage stations for unlimited fountain drinks all summer long.
The new shows at Cedar Point are definitely worth watching! “Peanuts Perfect Day” is a fun celebration from beginning to end with music, dance, and all of your favorite Peanuts characters. Find it in Celebration Plaza – and don’t forget to stick around after the show to meet the Peanuts! “Lights, Camera, Action” is a musical journey that takes you through the greatest numbers from your favorite movies, from “Singing in the Rain” to “Hairspray”.
