Conventions are a fun and terrific way to learn more about your industry and meet other professionals in your field. They provide the information you need to build on your experience and grow in your profession. As a distinguished transportation company, we’re prepared to make your convention transportation the best it can be!

If you have yet to book transportation for your convention, we take you through the process step-by-step in this article. Once you’ve gone through each step and secured your transportation, your vehicle will be booked and you will be set for the day of your convention! Our reservations specialists usually reach out about a week before the date of your convention to ensure the details and information on file are correct, and to make any needed changes. On the day of your convention, the driver(s) will arrive at the specified pick-up location at the time discussed (usually 5-15 minutes early) with the vehicle(s) you selected. Upon meeting your driver(s), we recommend that you exchange phone numbers so communication can occur throughout your time together. Depending on the length of your convention and the services requested, your vehicle(s) will typically stay at the venue the entire time.
After the services are complete, you are all set! Your reservations specialist may reach out to you a day or two after your convention to ask for feedback on our services. As always, we appreciate having valuable customers like you and can’t wait to assist you with your transportation needs!

At the end of June, Wayne State University put on their annual week-long baseball camp in partnership with the Detroit Tigers and Trinity Transportation! Kids ages 7-18 came from all around the Metro Detroit area to advance their baseball skills and learn from the best at this camp. The participating kids visited Comerica Park where they were able to go onto the field for batting practice, received a special tour, and spent time with the players and coaches. The camp ended with the participating kids receiving a tour of WSU’s campus and spending time with WSU’s baseball players and coaches who taught the campers new drills and exercises and showed them what it’s like to be a collegiate athlete. We are proud to support our future baseball players by providing the transportation for this annual camp!

WSU head coach Ryan Kelley said, “It was an exciting and action-packed week of baseball at our annual summer camp. We hope all participants enjoyed spending their time with us in a combined MLB and NCAA environment in our great baseball city of Detroit! I would like to thank the Detroit Tigers Foundation for outstanding leadership, support, and a commitment to helping provide a great experience for all participants. I would also like to thank all of our camp staff, which included current and former NCAA baseball student-athletes, high school coaches, select youth coaches, and former professional baseball players. Plus, Trinity Transportation was instrumental in helping with our ground transportation during camp. On behalf of our camp staff, I would like to wish all participants a great deal of success on and off the field for the remainder of this summer and look forward to seeing you again at future events.”
The week filled with baseball was a success and we are so happy to have been a part of it!

Every year, Trinity Transportation hosts our annual company picnic. It is a time for us to celebrate our company family with delicious food and lots of summer fun! At this year’s picnic, we had blow-up obstacle courses, bounce houses, inflatable water slides and pools, clowns doing face painting and making balloon animals, a DJ, ice cream trucks, and a photo booth! The picnic was held at Lake Erie Metropark (right by the wave pool!) on June 23rd, 2018, and was catered by Kosch Catering, who provided an awesome selection of food. We also conducted an employee raffle, where employees had the chance to win prizes including bicycles, coolers, grills, yard games, 55” 4k TVs, and more!

Despite it raining at one point, the weather was perfect and sunny! Hundreds of employees from our terminals across southeast Michigan and Ohio and their families came to Lake Erie Metropark for our picnic put together to show appreciation for their hard work. We enjoyed spending the day having fun with our Trinity family and can’t wait for next year’s picnic!
Want to join in on the fun next summer? We are currently hiring for multiple positions!

We are excited to announce that Trinity Transportation has become the transportation provider for six schools in the Detroit Public Schools Community District and four charter schools in northwest Detroit! Trinity’s buses will take students to and from school and to and from after-school programs at the Northwest Activities Center. In an effort to keep security high, the city will be implementing a card-swiping system on the buses and at the Northwest Activities Center. This system will send text messages to parents when their children enter and exit the school bus, and when they go to and from after-school programs. As with a lot of our current routes, the buses for these schools will have two adults on board at all times: a driver and an attendant. We are thrilled to continue our relationship with Detroit Public Schools and look forward to helping with the growth of our future students!
