I Almost Met the President on My Trip to Washington D.C.

When Spring rolls around, so does vacation season. Kids normally have spring break during this time, so it’s a perfect opportunity to take a break from everything and visit a destination city.

One of the most popular cities to travel to, whether it be with the family or with a group, is Washington D.C. I’m sure when you think of our nation’s capital, at least 10 different things pop into your head as far as what you could do there.

To simplify your options, here is a list of places you could check out while in Washington D.C.

  1. Go to a Museum – You’re in a city filled with so much history, there’s no way you can leave before checking out one of the 19 museums located here. Whether your interest is space, natural history, or art, there’s going to be a museum for you. If you brought the kids, it would be a good plan to dedicate one day to “museum hopping.” The cool thing about the museums is that most of them are opened 7 days a week and a lot of them are free to visit. Click here to review a list of museums that you can visit.
  2. Visit the National Monuments/Memorials –It wouldn’t make sense to visit D.C. without checking out some of the historical monuments found here. The Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial are two of the best to see. One of the good things about them is that most of them are open all day and night, so you don’t have to go during a scheduled time. They look just as beautiful at night as they do during the day.
  3. The White House – The White House is one of the hottest attractions in the entire country, so it’s only fitting that you make time to see this hot spot. If you want to actually tour it, you’ll have to book in advance. If you’re in the city, it’s not hard to just walk up to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and take a selfie of yourself outside the building.

Belonging to the Trinity Family

Marketing and Public Relations Director

We are entering the busiest time of the year and for me, it will be my first spring experience with Trinity Transportation. While it can seem a little scary, it also sounds like it’s going to be fun!

During busy times of the year, things can often get very hectic. The amount of trips you may be dealt with, whether you are booking them, driving, or riding along, might be more than normal which can be overwhelming. This will most likely be the same at other transportation companies across the country.

But what sets us apart from those companies can be summed up in one word: Family. I have only worked here for 4 months, but the friendly and caring atmosphere that I’ve observed by EVERYONE has been amazing. Joining Trinity, you don’t just become another employee, but another addition to the always growing Trinity family.

At Trinity, there seems to be the words teamwork and comradery built into our foundation. No matter how busy we get, or how difficult the task at hand is, we are able to put on a smile and get through it, even if that means asking a fellow team member for assistance or support. Even if it’s as simple as saying “hello” or smiling, it can make someone’s day 10x better.

So as you move forward in the next couple of busy months, remember that we are all working towards the same goal: “Creating a more accessible world. If you feel overwhelmed at any time, don’t be afraid to ask someone for help. And on the opposite side, if you notice someone stressed out from their work, please lend a helping hand. Together, we can knock this spring season out of the ballpark!

I Went to Prom Looking like a Rock Star

Depending on who you ask, the most important night of a high school student’s life can vary. Most parents will tell you that their child’s graduation night is the most special event for them. But if you ask their children, they will most likely tell you…prom night!

Usually the first thing on the list for prom is the young lady’s dress or the young man’s tuxedo. But after that, all they can think about is that sweet ride to and from the prom venue!
The search for prom transportation will usually begin with, get ready – limousines. Now this is perfectly acceptable, but let’s be honest, do you really want to settle for “acceptable” on one of the most important nights of your high school life?

If you’re looking to set your group of friends apart from everyone else, then you should consider booking a motor coach bus. Here’s why:

  • Fit all of your friends on board – Most limousines will be able to accommodate 12-20 passengers. When booking a motor coach bus with Trinity Transportation, you can book as small as a 25 passenger mini coach and as big as a 56 passenger full sized motor coach. That way more of your friends can join your prom party and help cover the cost. And considering most of the young ladies will be wearing “larger than life” dresses, you’ll appreciate the extra space versus a narrow limo.Limo Bus
  • Quality equipment guaranteed – Most limousine services only run their vehicles within a certain mile radius. But a lot of motor coach companies take their vehicles all over the country, which means they have to be equipped with high quality parts and must be able to withstand thousands of miles at a time. Now we know your prom is probably no more than 30 minutes away from the pick-up point, but knowing that you’ve booked a vehicle that is heavy duty and with a company that is an expert in repairs or solving break down issues will give you a sense of relief. Also, there’s a bathroom included!
  • Show up like a rock star – While everyone is pulling up into their standard stretch limo, you and your friends can roll up in your motor coach bus (Ok, I guess we can call it a party bus for one night!). A lot of students attending prom don’t just want to have fun at the venue but also on the way there. The party bus will allow students to hook up their own music and have a great a time as soon as they get picked up. Trinity offers a 56 passenger motor coach, our 25-35 mini coaches, and if you feel the need to still get a little bit of that “limo feel” for your prom, we also offer a 28 passenger black limo bus.

Trinity Transportation has a strict “no drinking” policy for underage students and our drivers are trained to enforce this policy by working with parents to ensure their children behave in a safe and responsible manner while traveling to and from the prom venue.

Spring is in the Air – Rallying Your Team

Angel Collins
Senior Reservations Specialist

Greetings Everyone,

For those who don’t know me, I’m Angel, the Senior Reservations Specialist at Trinity Transportation. I would like to start off by saying THANK YOU to everyone for doing such an amazing job this winter. I know it is really hard waking up early in this very cold weather and coming into work, especially if you are going out to drive all day.

Now we have to look forward to our crazy spring season! It  will be much nicer weather but it will call for much more demanding work.

There will be times where we might have to lend a hand to another part of the Trinity team to make sure that the job is done correctly and efficiently. But that is what makes Trinity a family. We help each other out when needed to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience!

Last spring we had some amazing drivers go above and beyond to help out the new drivers and anyone else in need. I am hopeful that we can get that same type of attitude from everyone this spring.

Again thank you everyone for all that you had to endure through the rough winter. Spring here we come! Go Team Trinity!
