$1,500 Donated to Yes Ma’am

Thursday, October 31st, 2013

Wow! $1,500 is being donated to Yes Ma’am from Trinity’s PINK Prius! Thanks to our owner, Jerry Sheppard, 25% of all October cab fares were donated to fund mammograms to uninsured working women. We raised enough to fund 15 mammograms!

We also had a TON of fun this month with potlucks, 5ks, PINK OUT days, and more! We have the best employees here at Trinity. You all made this month extra special. Also thanks to Upper Level Graphics who donated the vinyl to PINK out the Prius!

Paint the Town Pink

Wednesday, October 16th, 2013

pttpThis is the first year that we’ve been blessed to be a part of Paint the Town Pink, but let us tell you, we’re LOVING it! The “Tatas Task Force” team has put together an entire month of events here in Wyandotte to help spread breast cancer awareness. From helping to remind women to get their mammograms, to raising money for Yes Ma’am (learn more about them below!), the team is a true inspiration. The best part? October still has two weeks left! There’s still plenty of time to get involved!

What’s going on around town?

Roosevelt High School Pink Out Game

Come support the Bears this Friday against Taylor Truman. The game is at home at 7pm and we’re pinking out the stadium!

Pink-a-palooza

Wine, food, beer. Need we say more? Just in case there IS more to life than that for you (though those are pretty important), there will also be a pink balloon release, live music and a DJ, and a lot of dancing.
To make sure you make it home safe, we’re offering trips home in our pink prius! Fare is pay-what-you-want and it will all be donated to Yes Ma’am!!

Women of Wyandotte’s Pink Parasol Party

Conveniently scheduled for Sweetest Day (Hint Hint), the part will have wonderful food, dancing, karaoke, a photo booth, and more! Tickets are only $40 for one, or $75 per couple! Purchase them here.

Trinity’s Pink Prius

All month long, 25% of the revenue from the Pink Prius will be donated to Yes Ma’am! Ask to be transported in it and help support Yes Ma’am! A big THANKS to Upper Level Graphics who donated the graphics to pink out the Prius.  Call 734-284-9229 to schedule!

Bra’s for a Cause

Check out the Tatas Task Force Facebook Page to see all of the great bras submitted! They are ALL OVER TOWN! The winner will be chosen at Pink-a-palooza!

What did you miss to remember for next year?

Paint the Town Pink 5k Fun Run

The fun run was so much… fun! Zumba! Wyandotte’s class in the morning, a run, bloody mary bars, and then pancakes at Portofino to end the event. You don’t even have to run! You can go and “stroll” through the bloody mary bar’s and enjoy down town. This year there were women, men, kids, even animals!

PLUS, there’s been a Pink Off party,  spaghetti dinner, bake sale, “Paddle for Pink” Kayak trip hosted by Riverside Paddle, Haunted House by Jaycee, and more!

There’s been so much going on, there’s too much to even say! Just look around Wyandotte and you can see the pink! If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 734-284-9229!

Thanks again to the Tatas Task Force for letting us be a part of this special month! And of course, all of our love to the survivors, fighters, those lost, and their families. We’re so blessed and proud to be a part of this community. See more on Trinity’s Facebook Page

Trinity Student Delivery Keeping Our Children Safe

Friday, August 23rd, 2013

Trinity Student Delivery is always in the business of keeping kids safe. In fact, it’s our number one priority! This week, though, we’ve been part of two major news stories about keeping our kids safe.

We’ve partnered with Saginaw Charter Academy to provide transportation to their students for the first time. With the recent changes in school districts in the area, many students were left without school transportation. Our school bus routes will keep many students from walking to school. Contact the school for more information about routes. See the full story on ABC12.com.

In Lake Township, OH, Rossford students and staff were part of a real-time training where an actor portrayed a gunman taking hostage of the bus. A SWAT team was also involved in the exercise and shared some life saving tips with students. See the full story on Toledo News Now.

If you’re interested in learning more about Trinity Student Delivery’s safety training, please contact Alana Tobis at alanat@trinitytransportation.com

Wednesday, August 21st, 2013

Cedar Point Halloweekends are finally here! Halloweekends is celebrating its 17th year this fall. It’s hard to believe it’s been running that long! This year, of course, looks promising to top the last, just as Cedar Point has managed to do every year since they started.Cedar Point Halloweekends

This year, Halloweekends will feature:

  • Four Haunted Houses including the Eden Musee Wax Museum and Chamber of Horrors. See an inside look at Cedar Point’s Eden Musee Wax Museum and Chamber of Horrors
  • Six Scare Zones (my personal favorite!) filled with screamsters, ghouls, and darkness
  • Live Musical Shows featuring supernatural stars like the Skeleton Crew
  • Halloween décor throughout the park
  •  Monster Midway Invasion Celebration Parade at 4pm every Saturday and Sunday
  • Plus special attractions for children including Camp Spooky and Magical House on Boo Hill

We’re happy to announce that we will be extending the Cedar Point Charter to run most Saturdays through October 26th.  Enjoy the Halloweekends entertainment without the hassle of the drive and parking (parking is up to $15!) and enjoy the drive instead of dreading it! Adult tickets are only $79 and include park admission and bus transportation.
