Vote for Matt Nolan

Thursday, June 14th, 2012

Each year, the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau presents the ROSE Award to stars in the hospitality industry who provide unforgettable customer service.

Our motor coach driver Matt Nolan is a finalist for the Rose Award. Please read the story below and go to theroseawards.com to vote for Matt.

My name is Jim Smith, and our Potterville High School music department recently traveled to Orlando and the Disney properties.  I wanted to congratulate you and your team for a very nice experience.  In the past, we have had contracts with other coach companies and have had some “interesting” experiences.

I was on the coach and Matt was our driver. Having firsthand experience with Matt, I wanted to share a couple of thoughts about him.

We had a student that went on the trip with us with some very special needs, both physically and cognitively.  We could not have asked for a better person to be at the helm of our coach than Matt!  His interactions with Ryan were sensitive, patient, understanding and, most importantly, caring.

Matt was exceedingly patient with Ryan, and I believe there was a real connection between them.  Matt always took time to listen to Ryan and to speak with him in a genuine manner.  It can be easy to become impatient and dismissive of a person such as Ryan, and with Matt, there was never even a hint of that attitude.  Furthermore, he did a fine job of being helpful in getting Ryan off the coach, getting out his wheelchair, and helping Ryan’s mom in any way he could.

Again, congratulations on a fine team!

The Results are in

Friday, June 8th, 2012

After much deliberation and countless hours of deciphering the results are finally in for the driver photo contest.

Each motor coach driver at Trinity was challenged to capture a unique image with a Trinity Motor Coach during the month of April.

Many pictures were submitted. Below are the winners.

The grand prize of a digital camera for 1st place goes to Brian Enterkin with his image of the Trinity Coach at Jefferson Memorial.

Awarded a $50 fuel card for 2nd place was Jim Bloom of his image in front of the Nations Capitol.

A $20 subway gift card was granted to Phil Haag who took  3rd place for his image outside of the Biltmore Estates in Ashville, North Carolina.

Thanks to all the motor coach drivers who submitted photos and for all of the passengers who were apart of the images.

Trinity Selected the Best

Thursday, May 31st, 2012

Trinity Transportation takes great pride in being selected as the Best transportation company for 2012 according to the Michigan Meetings and Events Magazine.

Every single winner in the annual Readers’ Choice Best Of award campaign is hand-picked by the meeting planners, event planners and suppliers who read Michigan Meetings + Events magazine.

The Best Of awards are designed to honor the cream of the crop in the regional meetings and events industry. Readers determine the winners— every vote in each category is influential and important.

The awards are a celebration of the hard work and above-and-beyond service of suppliers who help planners be at the top of their game. Once the votes are tallied, the top nominees are notified, and the winners are kept secret until the Best Of Awards party and announced in the magazine’s special Best Of issue.
