The Motor Coach Driver Photo Contest

Friday, April 27th, 2012

At the beginning of April we challenged our Trinity motor coach drivers to a photo competition.

The rules are simple. Take a picture, that includes a Trinity motor coach. Many drivers instantly began thinking of creative places to take pictures with the motor coaches.

So far many pictures that have crossed the desk of the judges have been very impressive.

The pictures are submitted to the judges anonymously, and at the end of the month a meeting will be held at the Trinity Corporate Headquarters in Wyandotte, Michigan, just 20 minutes south of Detroit, to identify the winners.

The first place winner will receive a digital camera and the photo will be posted to our website, trinitytransportation.com, along with a bio of the motor coach driver.

The second place winner will receive a $50 gas card along with a posting of his/her picture that was selected onto our website.

The third place winner will receive a $20 gift card to Subway, along with a posting of his/her picture that was selected onto our website.

Please stay tuned to see who is selected as the winners as we anticipate many extraordinary pictures of the Trinity Coach.

We will post the winners next week.

New Prevost H3-45’s delivered

Friday, December 30th, 2011

Trinity Coach of Michigan has taken delivery of two 2011 Prevost H3-45 motorcoaches.  “We strive to operate the nicest equipment in the region” said Jerry Sheppard, president of the Detroit-area based transportation company.  In late 2010, prior to the addition of the two 2011 Prevost coaches, Trinity also took delivery of two 2010 Prevost H3-45 coaches.  This brings Trinity’s full size coach fleet to a total of 22 vehicles.

These latest coaches are equipped with the clean, well-proven Volvo D13 engine, which exceeds EPA10 emissions standards. The powertrains feature Allison transmissions.  Both the 2010 and the 2011 Prevost coaches are equipped with top tier amenities, including flat screen video monitors, Wi-Fi, 110-volt outlets, and faux wood floors which offer an extra measure of elegance.  Recognizing that many customers now travel with computers, cell phones, and other devices that require recharging, the company specified the 110-volt outlets in every seat pair.  This is a feature that Trinity passengers truly appreciate.

Trinity Coach and other Trinity Transportation Group companies have provided a range of transportation options throughout the southern Michigan region for 30 years. Trinity currently operates a fleet of over 300 buses, taxis and sedans.  Trinity Coach purchased its first motor coaches in 2000, three 2000 Prevost H3-45 coaches, which were purchased after Mr. Sheppard was attracted by the brand’s reputation for outstanding quality.  Eleven years later, Trinity Coach and its staff remain highly satisfied with Prevost product quality, excellent customer service, and sustained resale value.   “We are committed to investing in the best equipment, so we can deliver comfort and safety which is second to none,” said Sheppard.  “Our customers have come to expect the best from us, and we deliver.”

School Bus Inspection Receives High Marks

Friday, August 19th, 2011

The school bus inspection team, a division of the Michigan State Police, recently inspected Trinity Transportation’s school bus fleet. Over 200 buses received their annual safety review with flying colors.

Trinity’s bus fleet received a 100% passing rate. There were no red or yellow tags issued. According to the inspection criteria, all vehicles inspected were in a safe operating condition.

This is the seventh consecutive year that Trinity has received a perfect score.
According to Jerry Sheppard, President of the Trinity Transportation Group, “The results of our inspections are indicators of every one doing their jobs right and have bought into the concept of serving the customers well with safe and reliable transportation. We are pleased to be able to deliver on our promises”.

Trinity Transportation Group is known by its customers in Southeastern Michigan for its outstanding safety record, its dependable fleet and its guaranteed on-time arrivals. And most of all we’re proud of serving our customers with instant and continuous service.

Defensive Driving Seminar

Sunday, October 26th, 2008

The Trinity Transportation Group along with Travelers Insurance conducted a two-day defensive driving seminar at corporate headquarters, October 24 &25, 2008. Over 135 Trinity drivers from the four divisions; motor coach, shuttle, taxi-cab, and school bus drivers attended this event.

An emphasis was placed during the sessions on driver preparation. Preparing for the driving assignment is one of the best ways to drive defensively. According to surveys, continuous in-service training promotes professionalism which in return lowers vehicle accidents and protects the safety of our passengers.

Well trained professional drivers are one of the keys to Trinity’s success. Our customers have appreciated the time and effort put forth in its training programs.
