Trinity Transportation Enters Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Sector

The new service will provide access to transportation for individuals who need transference for medical needs

WYANDOTTE, Michigan, July 9^th, 2019 — Trinity Transportation today announced the addition of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), a new transportation service for the Southeast Michigan community. NEMT is a service provided to individuals who need transportation to and from medical appointments, the pharmacy, the hospital, or urgent care. The trips are non-emergency in nature and individuals may require NEMT for a variety of reasons, including lack of a vehicle; inability to take traditional transportation for mental, physical, or developmental reasons; or they do not possess a valid driver’s license. This service exists to ensure all individuals have access to proper medical care and is especially important for those with chronic conditions.
