Trinity Transportation is happy to announce multiple transitions with their leadership staff due to the growth that they’ve experienced over the summer time.
Tracy Akers will be transitioning from a General Manager role to Trinity’s Vice President. Mr. Akers has been with the company for over 30 years and has played an important part in the growth and expansion of Trinity. In his new role as VP, he will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our vehicles and facilities as well as safety programs and training.
Austin Arksey, current Sales Director, will now be in a more operations based role as Trinity’s new Chief Operating Officer. Arksey has been with Trinity for 5 years and has rapidly moved through the ranks within the company. As Sales Director, he has forged strong relationships between Trinity and it’s customers and has also helped streamline new processes for the sales team. In this newly created position, Austin will have responsibility over the sales and service of the school bus, motor coach and sedan divisions.
David Holls has been promoted to Regional Manager of School Bus Operations, another new role created over the summer due to the expansion of the company. David has held many roles within Trinity, ranging from Bus Driver and Dispatcher to Terminal Manager of our east side locations. Because of his abilities to manage multiple locations, he has been chosen to oversee all of the school bus terminals for the company throughout Michigan and Ohio.
