Meet AustinAustin Arksey is a 2009 graduate from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in a concentration of Construction Management and a dual minor Associate Degree in building construction technology management and civil engineering.
Mr. Arksey joined the Trinity team in 2010 as a confirmation specialist. Since then Mr. Arksey has continued to climb the ranks being Sales Director and currently the Chief Operating Officer. He currently oversees the entire sales and service portion of the company.
During Mr. Arksey’s time as Sales Director he has implemented innovative software to reduce cost, time and increase quality assurance for customers. Pioneered state of the art technology to track vehicles and better serve the community. Spearheaded on board vehicle functionality programs to keep riders safe and connected.
As a member of Wayne RESA Mr. Arksey is growing his involvement in the transportation realm to best understand the needs of school districts, regularly attending transportation director meetings and assisting in special events.

Meet AdinaAdina Allen is the Human Resources Manager at Trinity Transportation. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration, with double major in Business Management and Psychology from Baker College of Allen Park. At Trinity, she is responsible for all human resources functions of the organization. Her areas of responsibility include recruitment, retention, staffing, benefits, classification and compensation, learning and development, employee relations, payroll, information management, and leadership development.
In less than a year as HR Manager with Trinity Transportation, Adina has created a positive relationship with all employees, implemented a new Employee Opinion Survey for gathering feedback for process improvement and leadership development. She is also working towards short term objectives and long-range strategic plan, while bringing with her a high level of energy. She is extremely passionate about Trinity Transportation having positive employee relations through respected, engaged and fulfilled employees.
Adina Allen possesses over 8 years of experience in Human Resources and organizational development. Her expertise includes talent management, training and development, as well as leadership and management coaching. Adina came to Trinity Transportation with an extensive HR background in manufacturing with her last position as an HR Generalist in a global organization in the steel industry.
She has obtained a wealth of knowledge in health and safety, OSHA and MIOSHA standards as well as maintaining high employee morale. Adina has always believed in serving her others and her community, and continues to do so through her tireless efforts in social responsibility efforts within the surrounding areas.

Meet DonnaDonna has worn MANY hats in her career at Trinity. She started in 2001 as a bus attendant and has since worked as a bus driver, auditor, and is currently our fleet specialist. Thankfully, she still helps us out wherever and whenever we need her! Her favorite part about working at Trinity is how friendly everyone is. Her co-workers keep her laughing all the time. Our favorite part about her working at Trinity is that she is always willing to help!

Meet LarryTrinity’s Fleet Service Manager, Larry Webster has worked for Trinity for over a decade.
Mr. Webster grew up in Lincoln Park where his father owned a mechanic shop. This led to Larry taking an interest in cars and other motor vehicles.
Before Trinity, Larry owned his own body shop that he operated all by himself. Trinity ended up being a customer of Larry’s and after experiencing the atmosphere and professionalism of the company, Larry joined as a mechanic.
After only a few years, Larry volunteered to help manage Trinity’s school bus inspections. Eventually, he was named Trinity’s Fleet Service Manager, overseeing school buses, motor coaches, and taxi’s.
Since Larry has been in this position, Trinity Transportation has received 100% pass rate for their school bus inspections. He is a member of the MAPT and has competed in the School Bus Technician competition 3 times, placing 2nd once and 3rd twice.

With the combined experience of a finance and accounting management professional and extensive involvement in a variety of philanthropic, academic, and civic endeavors, Patrick joined the company in 2013 with a set of unique capabilities particularly suited to the mission of Trinity Transportation. Meet BobMr. Bishop is a 1988 graduate of Widener University with a Master of Business Administration and a concentration in Finance as well as a 1983 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Mr. Bishop earned his Certified Public Accountant designation in the state of Pennsylvania in 1985.
Mr. Bishop joined Trinity Transportation in 2013 as Chief Financial Officer. He was recruited to improve the company’s financial and operational reporting, enhance internal controls, streamline customer invoicing, champion team collaboration, and build-out the company’s systems capabilities. Mr. Bishop draws on 30+ years of experiences from a variety of industries (from public accounting to real estate and relocation services to software technology to transportation) bringing the best practices of financial management and business strategy to the company.
Mr. Bishop also oversees the Human Resources Department. With nearly 600 employees at Trinity Transportation, HR plays a strategic function of the company. We understand that excellent customer service is best achieved with fully engaged employees who support the goals and vision of the company and who are committed to our core values.

Meet RehmanRehman Bhatti graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Marketing. Rehman is a downriver native, living in cities such as Taylor, Southgate, and Trenton.
Rehman has belonged to the Trinity team for less than a year but has already created many successful marketing and branding campaigns to increase brand awareness for Trinity.
Since being with Trinity, he has helped sponsor many different educational foundations in the downriver and metro Detroit area. He has also actively sought out new and exciting philanthropic opportunities for Trinity to take part in.
Aside from marketing Trinity’s services, Rehman works very closely with the Human Resources department in recruiting talented and qualified school bus drivers.

Meet MelissaMelissa Werner graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science, with an emphasis in Psychology and Communication Disorders.
Melissa has a wide range of experience with 10 years of management experience in the mental health field. She successfully managed a home of six developmentally disabled adults along with developing the skills of staff members who are now college graduates with nursing and business degrees.
Melissa has also worked as an administrative assistant to the Executive Director for one of the largest non-profit mental health companies in Michigan. Here, she conducted accreditation surveys and state and county licensing audits.
Melissa has worked as the Human Resources Generalist at Trinity Transportation for over 3 years. At Trinity, she is responsible for handling issues related to workers compensation, FMLA, employee relations, unemployment, and various company policies and procedures. She has successfully lowered the unemployment tax rate by 10% in one year.

Meet PhillipPhillip Adkins graduated from Gabriel Richard Riverview in 2009. While he was a student there, Phillip took several advance placement courses such as US History, biology, Calculus, and Psychology. Phil also captained the football team, played basketball, and ran track. Lastly, he participated in French Club, oversaw the finances of the National Honor Society and Served as Student Government President.
Phillip earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Michigan Dearborn. He excelled in classes such as Chemistry, Biology, and Calculus early in his college career. Later on, Phillip pursued a degree in Economics and prevailed in courses such as Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, and Marketing.
While in school, Phillip began working at his father’s construction company, Adkins and Sons. He supervised all accounts receivables, payables and all other financial aspects of the business. Phillip was also responsible for executing marketing strategies and processing all window and door orders.
Next, Phillip moved into the Sports Marketing Industry where swiftly he climbed the ladder to become the Director of Finance and Operations at a small sports and entertainment company called Pakmode Media + Marketing. During his tenure at Pakmode, Phillip created expense reports, cash flow analyses, and forecasting utilities. He also participated in forming marketing strategies and executing sponsorship activations.
In February 2015, Phillip co-founded a small bookkeeping firm called Matte Blue. There, he currently manages finances and presents business solutions for 6 other small businesses in the downriver area.
Currently, Phillip is tackling field trip, athletic events, and motor coach invoicing at Trinity. He keeps an extremely accurate database of invoices.

Meet TracyTracy Akers has worked in the transportation industry almost all of his life. He started out at the age of 17 working as a dispatcher at Trinity Transportation. Mr. Akers then went on to study Computer Technology at Cambridge.
Because of his growing interest in computers and logistics, he returned to Trinity Transportation in 1998, under the ownership of Jerry Sheppard. Mr. Akers brought with him his knowledge of logistics and electronics, which he shared with Mr. Sheppard to help develop the best passenger transportation company in the region.
Tracy is member of the Michigan Pupil Transportation Association and is a Certified Transportation Supervisor by the Department of Education for the State of Michigan.

Meet CarlCarl has over 35 years of experience in pupil transportation. After working for Detroit Public Schools for 32 years, Carl retired as Operations Administrator and joined Trinity in 2011. Carl is an active member of the MAPT. He formerly served MAPT as State Regional Representative, 3-year director, and 1-year director. Carl is currently the Vice Chair (previously Vice President) of Wayne County Transportation Supervisors Association, an association he has been a proud member of for the past 15 years.

Meet VanessaVanessa joined the Human Resources team at Trinity in March 2015 as the Receptionist in Dearborn Heights. Before coming to Trinity, she held positions in law enforcement and was a Corrections Officer for 10 years. One of her biggest accomplishments was completing a 4 month boot camp training course to become a CO.
She attended Wayne County Community College where she studied Criminal Justice and has plans to go back to work towards her associates degree.
Since joining Trinity, Vanessa has learned multiple customer service skills and has really made a positive impact at our Dearborn Heights location. She already shows customers the charter buses when they come to visit and has been praised by various customers on her professionalism and friendly personality.
