Meet AustinAustin Arksey is a 2009 graduate from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in a concentration of Construction Management and a dual minor Associate Degree in building construction technology management and civil engineering.
Mr. Arksey joined the Trinity team in 2010 as a confirmation specialist. Since then Mr. Arksey has continued to climb the ranks being Sales Director and currently the Chief Operating Officer. He currently oversees the entire sales and service portion of the company.
During Mr. Arksey’s time as Sales Director he has implemented innovative software to reduce cost, time and increase quality assurance for customers. Pioneered state of the art technology to track vehicles and better serve the community. Spearheaded on board vehicle functionality programs to keep riders safe and connected.
As a member of Wayne RESA Mr. Arksey is growing his involvement in the transportation realm to best understand the needs of school districts, regularly attending transportation director meetings and assisting in special events.

Her favorite part of working in this industry is getting to positively impact the children of the schools we partner with. Meet ValereValere is the Human Resources Generalist for Trinity Transportation. She has a passion for employees and customer service and feels that it's one of the best ways to handle employee relations. She also has an extensive background in employee benefits which has helped her at Trinity.
Valere earned her Associates Degree in Human Resources from Baker College. She has worked in the Human Resources field for over 15 years. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Meet KevinA 20-year veteran of the ground transportation industry, Kevin is the Director of Motor Coach Operations at Trinity Transportation. Kevin is responsible for managing the entire motor coach division as well as all of the motor coach drivers. Kevin also oversees the operation of the 24-hour motor coach dispatch department, which he established to guarantee customers and drivers uninterrupted communicative access to Trinity representatives. For the purpose of preparing motor coach drivers to deliver the finest in service and safety, Kevin developed Trinity's comprehensive, corporate-mandated motor coach operator training program. The curriculum consists of three weeks of intensive classroom and over-the-road training. Additionally, Kevin also maintains all Department of Transportation mandated "hours of service" documentation as well as assists in state and federal compliance reviews. Finally, as a commitment to professional development, Kevin has attended "Leadership Skills for Effective Management" seminars, "Supervisor Signs and Symptoms" training, and maintains proficiency as a licensed motor coach and school bus driver.

Meet CarlCarl has over 35 years of experience in pupil transportation. After working for Detroit Public Schools for 32 years, Carl retired as Operations Administrator and joined Trinity in 2011. Carl is an active member of the MAPT. He formerly served MAPT as State Regional Representative, 3-year director, and 1-year director. Carl is currently the Vice Chair (previously Vice President) of Wayne County Transportation Supervisors Association, an association he has been a proud member of for the past 15 years.

Meet DavidDave Holls is a 2016 graduate of the Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree in a concentration of Global Supply Chain Management, with a minor in Public Relations. He also received both an Associate in Business Administration (ABA) and an Associate in General Business (AB) degrees from Henry Ford College. Mr. Holls joined Trinity in 2009 as a driver. He worked in each of our divisions, and became experienced with all aspects of our operations. While still driving, he began assisting management with operational support initiatives, which led to him into a supervisory role. In 2013, Dave took over management of our Roseville school bus terminal and six months later took on a second terminal in Hamtramck, simultaneously overseeing all facility, personnel, and maintenance operations at both locations. In 2015, Dave was promoted to the position of Regional Operations Manager, overseeing the management and direction of all school bus operations for the company. He is strongly focused on technology, and uses these tools to increase operational efficiencies whenever possible. Before joining Trinity Transportation, Dave had a 10 year real estate career and was actively involved with his local real estate board, chairing numerous committees and being nominated for the board of directors.

Meet AnesaAnesa recently joined the Trinity Transportation team and currently works in the sales department as a Motor Coach Reservation Specialist. Anesa has her Associates Degree in Telecommunications from Henry Ford College. She plans on returning to school soon to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources.
Anesa has experience in retail management and call centers, which she feels helps her with her customers at Trinity. Anesa loves working with people and feels that she will do a great job managing clients and assisting with customers questions and concerns.

Meet DennisDennis Fluder is one of Trinity Transportation's full time Safety Directors. Dennis has a plethora of knowledge when it comes to the transportation industry, specifically in regards to training and safety. He has worked for several other transportation companies and has been able to gain the proper skills and experience to help lead the safety department at Trinity Transportation.
Prior to entering the Safety Director position, Dennis held various positions in operations, managing up to 100+ employees, 75+ buses, and 12 different school districts.
Dennis has had the opportunity as a Safety Trainer to work with over 250 school bus drivers to train them on rules and regulations for handicapped children and adults throughout Michigan and Ohio.
Along with focusing on safety, Dennis assists with any special projects or new contracts that come about at Trinity. His flexibility and quick thinking allows him to help things run flawlessly and accurately.

Meet PhillipPhillip Adkins graduated from Gabriel Richard Riverview in 2009. While he was a student there, Phillip took several advance placement courses such as US History, biology, Calculus, and Psychology. Phil also captained the football team, played basketball, and ran track. Lastly, he participated in French Club, oversaw the finances of the National Honor Society and Served as Student Government President.
Phillip earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Michigan Dearborn. He excelled in classes such as Chemistry, Biology, and Calculus early in his college career. Later on, Phillip pursued a degree in Economics and prevailed in courses such as Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, and Marketing.
While in school, Phillip began working at his father’s construction company, Adkins and Sons. He supervised all accounts receivables, payables and all other financial aspects of the business. Phillip was also responsible for executing marketing strategies and processing all window and door orders.
Next, Phillip moved into the Sports Marketing Industry where swiftly he climbed the ladder to become the Director of Finance and Operations at a small sports and entertainment company called Pakmode Media + Marketing. During his tenure at Pakmode, Phillip created expense reports, cash flow analyses, and forecasting utilities. He also participated in forming marketing strategies and executing sponsorship activations.
In February 2015, Phillip co-founded a small bookkeeping firm called Matte Blue. There, he currently manages finances and presents business solutions for 6 other small businesses in the downriver area.
Currently, Phillip is tackling field trip, athletic events, and motor coach invoicing at Trinity. He keeps an extremely accurate database of invoices.

Meet LarryTrinity’s Fleet Service Manager, Larry Webster has worked for Trinity for over a decade.
Mr. Webster grew up in Lincoln Park where his father owned a mechanic shop. This led to Larry taking an interest in cars and other motor vehicles.
Before Trinity, Larry owned his own body shop that he operated all by himself. Trinity ended up being a customer of Larry’s and after experiencing the atmosphere and professionalism of the company, Larry joined as a mechanic.
After only a few years, Larry volunteered to help manage Trinity’s school bus inspections. Eventually, he was named Trinity’s Fleet Service Manager, overseeing school buses, motor coaches, and taxi’s.
Since Larry has been in this position, Trinity Transportation has received 100% pass rate for their school bus inspections. He is a member of the MAPT and has competed in the School Bus Technician competition 3 times, placing 2nd once and 3rd twice.

Meet TracyTracy Akers has worked in the transportation industry almost all of his life. He started out at the age of 17 working as a dispatcher at Trinity Transportation. Mr. Akers then went on to study Computer Technology at Cambridge.
Because of his growing interest in computers and logistics, he returned to Trinity Transportation in 1998, under the ownership of Jerry Sheppard. Mr. Akers brought with him his knowledge of logistics and electronics, which he shared with Mr. Sheppard to help develop the best passenger transportation company in the region.
Tracy is member of the Michigan Pupil Transportation Association and is a Certified Transportation Supervisor by the Department of Education for the State of Michigan.

Meet DanielAfter nearly 22 years in the transportation industry, Mr. Tomlinson joined the team in 2016 as the Safety and Compliance Director. The majority of his experience comes from the motor coach industry where he has served in many roles. Dan has several years of experience in training new drivers to be Motor Coach Operators, managing day to day operations, and overseeing compliance pertaining to OSHA and Federal Motor Carrier regulations. He has been involved with the ABA’s Bus Industry Safety Council for the last 9 years.
During that time, he served as Chairman for the Government Activities Review Committee as well as on the BISC Executive Committee. Dan has made presentations to the BISC membership and served several Expert Panels during his involvement with BISC. He has also spent time working within the IMG Safety Committee as well as The National Safety Council’s transportation division. Dan is also part of the Over the Road Working Bus Group which is a collaborative effort between the American Bus Association and the TSA focused on security within the Motor Coach Industry. He is certified in “Critical Infrastructure Terrorism Awareness and Response” after completed training through CAT Eyes, an Anti-Terrorism Training organization, and is certified in the “National Incident Management System” through CAT Eyes as well as FEMA.
Now, as part of the Trinity team, Dan is responsible for overseeing the Safety Program as well as ensuring that the company stays within the guidelines set forth by the many different regulating agencies. With a major focus on continuing and constantly improving the commitment to safety and the professional type of transportation service that has become Trinity, Dan is responsible to see to it that we stay on top and lead the way for others to follow.
